University of Houston Small Business Development Center (UHSBDC)
UHSBDC is located at the Katy Commerce Center and finding by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This network provides the assistance business consulting and affordable training seminars to small and medium sized business owners and managers. They also help business owners develop strategies, attract customers, increase sales and improve productivity and profitability.
SCORE – Katy
SCORE stands for Service Corps of Retired Executives and they serve as counselors to small business. They are real-world professionals with time tested knowledge who devote thousands of hours to help businesses succeed. They are available for counseling at the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce.
Katy Area Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Center (BRC)
In cooperation with SCORE, the BRC offers free, confidential business counseling for new and existing small business owners. Assistance provided includes writing a business plan, how to get started, cash flow management, market analysis, and much more. Business mentorships are available as well.
G-Tech offers cost-effective, month to month, inclusive services with optional business support with short-term, serviced industrial and office space for business start-up, incubation, overspill or temporary downsizing. The facility is located in the Katy area, next to the Energy Corridor on the Grand Parkway.
