    The National Weather Service forecasts cooler weather through Sunday, but the Katy area has several indoor events planned for the whole family:


    “Snow Diva” at Pinot’s Palette 
    Spend a couple of hours sipping wine and learning to paint a snowwoman with sass. 6:30-8:30 p.m. $35. 2910 Commercial Center Blvd., Ste. 102, Katy. 281-769-2961.

    “Home Alone” Pizza Party at Alamo Drafthouse

    Friday and Saturday

    Mary Poppins” at World Theater
    The theater will host a live performance of the musical family classic wherein a magical nanny helps the neglected Banks children cope with their inattentive parents. 7:30 p.m. (Friday), 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (Saturday). $28 (general admission), $38 (VIP). 1012 S.     Creating A New You seminar at Serene Beans

    Skating, cookies and Santa at Kingdom & Wheels
